In Loving Memory of Charles Ray Jordan Jr.

December 3, 1971 – April 6, 2026

Charles Ray Jordan Jr., lovingly known by many as Charley, Charles, Charles Raymond, Chaw Dawg, Biz Markie Chaw, Chuck, and Charley Wagon, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026, in Bushyhead, Oklahoma, surrounded by the love of his family. He was 54 years old.

Born on December 3, 1971, in Tulsa, Charles lived a life defined by hard work, laughter, loyalty, and a heart for others. He was the kind of man who never met a stranger and never hesitated to lend a hand. If someone needed help, Charles showed up—no questions asked—and helped any way he could. That was simply who he was.

For nearly 20 years, Charles worked in the asphalt industry alongside his brothers, building not only roads and parking lots, but lifelong memories and an unbreakable family bond.

Charles was an outstanding mechanic and a natural problem solver. There never seemed to be a problem he couldn’t fix. Whether it was under the hood of a car or truck, in the garage, or helping someone through a tough situation, people knew they could count on him.

He was a proud and devoted father to his two children, Amaya Jordan and Dakota Jordan, who meant everything to him. Though he and his former wife, Claressa Jordan, were divorced, they remained the best of friends—a reflection of the loyalty, respect, and love that Charles carried throughout his life.

Charles is survived by his mother, Cathy Bitting; his former wife, Claressa Jordan; his children, Amaya Jordan and Dakota Jordan; his brother, Rickey Shane Bitting and wife, Candi Bitting, along with their children, Lexi Richison and her daughter, Millie Regenhard, Payton Bitting, and Summer Bitting; and his brother, Travis Owen Bitting, along with his children, Amanda Lormer and her husband, Ray Lormer, and their children, Remington, Ruger, and Addyson Lormer; Tiffany Emery and her children, Aubrey and Emmy Emery; and Hayley Bitting. He is also survived by many extended family members and lifelong friends who loved him deeply.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rick Bitting, and his brother, Paul Jordan.

Outside of work, Charles loved hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, cooking out with family and friends, and spending time tinkering on anything mechanical. He loved being outdoors, being with his people, and making memories with those he loved.

Most importantly, Charles was a born-again Christian whose faith remained strong until his final breath. Even in his final days, he believed with confidence that the Lord was taking complete care of him. That faith brought him peace, and it now brings comfort to those who loved him.

Charles leaves behind a legacy of faith, generosity, hard work, humor, and unconditional love. He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and impossible to replace.

The family will hold a celebration of Charley’s wonderful life on Saturday, June 20th from 12-3 at the Elks Lodge in Claremore. All family and friends are welcome and encouraged to gather to honor the man so many knew and loved. Come and go as you please.
