Cheryl Ann Aery

Service for Cheryl Ann Aery will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Chelsea 1st Baptist Church, burial will follow at Dawes Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday, November 22 from 2pm-8pm. Cheryl passed away on November 17, 2021. She was 60.

Born August 5, 1961 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Loye and Deloris (Gilcrease) Seabolt, Cheryl began her education at Big Cabin through the 4th grade. She started 5th grade at Chelsea and graduated with the class of 1979. When she finished school, Cheryl worked as a dental assistant for a time and then she had her children, she stayed home to care for them. After the kids got older, Cheryl went back to school at Rogers State University and obtained a degree in nursing. Her first assignment was at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa and later worked for hospice. For the last 11 years Cheryl has been employed with the Cherokee Nation working as a public health nurse.

Family was most important to Cheryl and she cherished the time she spent with them. Her grandchildren gave her much joy and she loved spoiling them. A collector, Cheryl loved finding items everywhere she looked. Her collection included Coke a Cola, Micky Mouse, and M&M memorabilia. She also loved to shop and there was an Amazon delivery just about daily.

This wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend will be missed by all who knew her. Those family members that survive include her husband, Patrick Aery; her children Christopher Aery and wife Brooke and Kimberly Aery and husband Pete Galvin; her grandchildren Christopher R. Aery, Shelby Aery, Alex Lawson, Kassidy Aery, and Ryder Aery; her siblings Debby Walker and husband Charlie, Steve Seabolt "Scuba Steve", and Teresa Lewis and husband Blake. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Loye and Deloris Seabolt, and her mother and father-in-law, Fern and Burl Aery.
