Clara Ruth Bell

June 19, 1939 — September 29, 2025

Chelsea, Ok

Born at Hilltop, Ar. on June 19, 1939, to Roy and Genevra Bell. She was the youngest of 7 children (Joe, June, Kirby, Wayne, , Dale,Eugenia, Ruth) Growing up on the mountain at the end of World War I| was tough but rewarding life. She learned, maybe too well, to be an independent person with the heart and determination of a lioness. Graduating high school in 1957 then nursing school 1964 as an LPN she set out on her own, but not for long. She worked at Tyson Foods in Green Forest, Ar. Then finished her working years at Emerson Electric in Harrison, Ar. Along the way, she made numerous friends.

She was "Ma Bell" to a bunch of BOYS that thought we were tough. She was always there for us, to feed us, give us a place to rest or be our defender. She loved every one of us!

Through out her life, she was always there for who ever needed her.

Though she never married, she was not alone. Raising a son, Tad Bell, in a time when she certainly didn't have too. He was the light (sometimes just a flickering) of her life until Tyler came along. With that same lioness attitude, she was there for the next generation of kids that simply called her Granny.

Though her mobility had faded the last few years, her sassy yet sometimes smart ass spirit kept everyone on their toes (that she might run over with that scooter). She never lost her fighting spirit until the last breath. Throughout her life, she taught everyone around her to "hold your head high and let them know you are there" attitude and a caring spirit that will pass through the generations.

She is survived by her son, Tad Bell and wife Jamie; Sisiter, June Williams; Grand children Tyler Bell and wife Lauren, Brody Cooper and wife Harley, Erin Pianalto and husband Clay; Great Grandchildren Lakota Cooper Lakyn Cooper, Kinley Pianalto, Adelyn Pianalto, Sawyer Pianalto along with many other extended family members.
