Coty James Pavey passed away on April 6th, 2023 he was 26 years old. Coty was born in Claremore, Oklahoma to C.J. Pavey and Jeannette Rothers. He attended Foyil Public Schools and Sequoyah Public Schools graduating with the class of 2016. Coty was very involved with 4-H and FFA growing up. He was a 4th generation livestock showman.
After his high school years he felt the call to serve his country and enlisted in the Army and was stationed at Ft. Drum in New York and while there was deployed to Afghanistan for 9 months. Once his term ended he spent some time in Oklahoma before reenlisting and was stationed in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. While serving he was promoted to Corporal. During his time in the
military he married Kelsei Pavey and the couple had two
daughters Kylah and Kara.
In Coty's free time he loved hunting, fishing, camping and
anything outdoors. He loved spending time with his daughters and enjoyed hanging out with friends and family playing video games. Coty loved his family and friends dearly and will be missed by many.
Coty is preceded in death by his grandparent Dale Noble; great grandparents Richard and Francilee Guilfoyle, Darrell and Gayle Rothers, and Paul Lee Ludwick.
Coty is survived by his wife Kelsei Pavey; daughters Kylah and Kara; parents, C.J. and Nicole Pavey, Jeannette and J.C. Rothers, siblings Kyle Rothers, Jay Rothers, Alissa Brown, Alia Rothers, Abby Rothers, Mia Pavey and Dustin Harter, along with many grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and in law family.
