Dahl Charles Morose passed away on Saturday, April 27th, 2024, at the age of 81.The son of John and Alice (Patty) Morose was born May 29, 1942, in Iowa City, Iowa. As a young boy he was raised in Kansas City, Missouri. There he would attend school, graduating from North Kansas City High School as a member of the class of 1960. Shortly after graduation Dahl and his family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. It was there one afternoon while riding his motorcycle that Dahl spotted a young June Mullins washing her car. Dahl Morose pulled into her drive and the two struck up a conversation and shortly began dating. They would marry on October 15, 1961, in Tulsa. The newlywed couple would live in Tulsa and begin raising their family. In 1970 June and Dahl decide to relocate and moved to Claremore.Dahl and June together were quite the entrepreneurs they decided to jump into the food and retail business. Owning the Mexican Chef restaurant in Claremore, as well as other restaurants in Inola and Chelsea. A few of their other notable endeavors included the Paradise Pantry, Bell, Book and Candle Store and the Pink House. June and Dahl also had their own hot shot delivery service.In his spare time Dahl had many hobbies and past times. He loved keeping his 14 acres looking like a park. Although he would admit it took him a long time to get it that way. He enjoyed walks down to the lake as well as the occasional game of golf.He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Alice Morose, wife, Myrna June Morose and sister Diane Kay.Survivors include his, sons, Jack Morose and wife Angie, Mike Morose, and Johnny Morose; and daughter, Julie Cox; grandchildren, Chasity Long, Jacklyn Olsen and husband Erik, Shelby Morose and Kelly Trevino, Sarah Bradshaw, Alex McGoffin, Aubrey Espinoza and husband Daniel and Allyson McGoffin; 9 great-grandchildren and many friends.View and sign Dahl's online memorial at www.mmsfuneralhomes.com
