It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Dan Deo Mullen, 67, a resident of Inola, Oklahoma, on March 7, 2026, after a long battle with cancer.
Dan was born on July 1, 1958, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Son of Buck Mullen and the late Blondie Mullen, he is survived his daughter, Samantha Mullen of Tulsa, grandson Gage, three brothers and sisters-in-law, Allen and Leigh Mullen of Inola, Ben and Diane Mullen of Tulsa, Cary and Shari Mullen of Muskogee, and one sister, Heidi Wilson, of St. Joseph, Missouri.
A union plumber by trade, Dan's job took him many places, however, he always returned to the Tulsa area. He was a boisterous and outgoing person whose friendly nature made him well-liked by many. He had a big, almost childlike, heart and was always ready to jump in and help friends and family, and loved hopping on Ben's dixie chopper to mow the grass. Dan enjoyed spending time with family at horse race outings and lunches at I Don't Care, and spending time with his girlfriend, Judy.
Though he faced personal challenges, his strong will and determination, particularly over the past few years, served as an inspiration to everyone who knew him.
He will be a reminder that there is light in dark times and laughter in difficult situations. We will miss him more than words can express.
