Dan Bentley

Danny E. Bentley, 75, passed away peacefully at his home in Claremore, Oklahoma, on April 13, 2025. A proud veteran and dedicated public servant, Danny spent 42 years with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers following his honorable service in the United States Army.

Danny is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Shelia Bentley; daughters Sheli D. Madison and her husband James of Catoosa, OK, Mindy Bentley of Claremore, OK, and Angie Chipman of Tulsa, OK; brothers Mack Bentley and his wife Deborah of Batesville Arkansas, and Rick Bentley and his wife Terri of Sapulpa, OK. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews who cherished his guidance, warmth, and sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Spencer Bentley, and his parents, Basil and Josephine Bentley of Claremore, OK.

Private Graveside services will be held May 2nd, 2025, at 1pm, family will welcome friends at 2:30pm at Hawthorn Bluff Gazebo in Oologah, Ok. where family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate Danny’s life.

Danny will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his country, and his quiet strength that touched all who knew him.
