Darrill Gene Scott was born June 7, 1962 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Donny and Nancy (Grant) Scott. He grew up and received his education in the Claremore area, graduating from Sequoyah High School with the class of 1980. Darrill began his career in the ESP industry on his 18th birthday, working his way through the ranks, and retiring in August of 2020.
In 1993, while feeding the ducks at Claremore lake, he met Theresa Lary, who became his wife on September 19, 1994. The couple enjoyed 27 years of marriage together.
When Darrill retired, he enjoyed spending time with his family and working on his long list of farm chores. His favorite part of retirement was being a grandpa and not having a set schedule. He enjoyed visiting with all of his friends, and never met a stranger.
A wonderful husband, father, grandpa, and friend, Darrill leaves behind his beloved family, which include his loving wife Theresa; daughter Kara Favors and husband Ryan; son Kyle Johnson and wife Cheyanne; grandchildren Joshua, Julianna, Cristen, and Walker (who is arriving in February of 2022); mother Nancy Scott; brothers David and wife Maralene, and Don and wife Mitzi; brother-in-law Bill Lary and wife Kerry; and many nephews.
