Memorial service for Donald Lee Ward will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 2:00pm at MMS-Payne Funeral Home.

Donald Lee Ward, beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home on the evening of April 18, 2025, at the age of 69. He was born in Claremore on January 15, 1956. He attended Oologah Schools and graduated in 1974. He was a machinist in Claremore at Hesston and Baker Hughes before finishing his working career as a propane delivery driver. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and tending to his massive garden.

He is survived by his four children, Justin and Kimberly Ward of Claremore, Lisa and John Congleton of Oologah, Zachary and Kayla Ward of Claremore and Travis and Kristin Ward of Claremore; 11 grandchildren, Natalie Weygandt, Tyson Ward, Kaylee Ward, Isaac Congleton, Brody Ward, Andrew Ward, Franky Congleton, Kelsey Ward, Whitney Ward, Paisley Ward and Kennedy Ward; and 3 sisters, Ilene Williams of Jay, Barbara Haney of Oologah and Audi Dixon of Oologah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Ward and Erma Williams, and sister, Irene Wilson.
