Donna Avon Reynolds

Donna Avon Reynolds, age 82, passed away on May 20, 2026.

Donna was born on February 18, 1944, in Claremore, Oklahoma to Richard and Clara “Tiny” (McKay) Hendricks. She was raised in Claremore where she attended school and spent most of her life. As a young woman, Donna worked alongside her parents at the family business, Hendricks Cleaners. After many years in the dry-cleaning business, she later went to work for Claremore Regional Hospital in housekeeping. She faithfully worked there until her retirement, after which she devoted much of her time to caring for her mother.

November 21, 1986, Donna married Don Reynolds. Together they continued making their home in Claremore, where they especially enjoyed spending time at their country home.

Donna enjoyed the simple things in life and the people she shared them with. She loved playing dominos with the church ladies, spending time playing solitaire, and collecting chicken memorabilia. More than anything, Donna treasured her family. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren and, in recent years, formed a special bond with her great-granddaughter, Jaley, while living together.

Donna will be remembered for her caring heart, her devotion to family, and the joy she found in everyday moments.

She is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Tiny Hendricks; husband, Don Reynolds and brother Dickie Hendricks.

Survivors include her children; Bobbie Freudenthaler and husband Erich; Cheryl Burris; Anita Balduff and husband Jim, Frances Dudley and husband John, Dana Zodrow and husband Mike; son; Shane Reynolds and Sarah Payne;; 13 grandchildren numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, sister-in-law Judy Hendricks and extended family members.
