Dustin Lee Hinton, born on April 14, 1992, in Claremore, Oklahoma, passed away on July 11, 2023, in Tulsa, at the age of 31.
Dustin's love for learning was ingrained within him from an early age. He attended Foyil and Chelsea Schools before ultimately graduating from Chelsea in 2010. During high school, he pursued his passion for helping others by attending vo-tech and studying nursing. Following his graduation, Dustin furthered his education at Tulsa Welding School. Beyond work and academics, Dustin had a vibrant personality that drew people towards him. He loved being the life of the party and was always ready to entertain others with his wit and charm. Known for his mischievous pranks, he never missed an opportunity to bring joy to those around him. Yet beneath this playful exterior, Dustin possessed a kind heart and was always eager to help others in need. Dustin's warm and giving nature extended to his circle of friends who will forever treasure the memories they made with him. His unwavering support and loyalty endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Outside of work, Dustin found solace in his hobbies and interests. He had a deep passion for cooking, delighting in experimenting with new recipes and treating loved ones to his culinary creations. He also shared a special bond with his beloved dog Lorenzo St. James, who brought immense joy and companionship into his life. Additionally, Dustin had a unique connection with his palm tree named Mother Teresa or sometimes referred to as Father Thomas, infusing his life with a sense of humor and playfulness.
Dustin Lee Hinton will be dearly missed but never forgotten. His infectious laughter, kind heart, and unwavering spirit will continue to inspire all those whose lives he touched.
Family held a special place in Dustin's heart. He cherished every moment spent with loved ones and took great pleasure in strengthening these bonds. His parents, Travis Hinton and wife Jackie; Sara Burns and husband Bernie; along with his daughter Sissy will forever carry his memory close to their hearts. In addition to his parents and daughter, Dustin is survived by his siblings: Ryan Hinton and wife Samantha, Brennon Hinton, Chelsey Burns and fiancé John Lowe; Marissa Smith and husband Zach; as well as grandparents Judy Mallicoat, David Hinton and wife Diane; Ed Anderson and wife Marsha; Hazel Collins; Tootie Burns and wife Pattie; along with his cherished nieces and nephews: Bo, Huk, Zoey, Gunner, Rylenn, and Rhett, and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
