Born October 4, 1932, in Decatur, AR, to John Hall and Ruby Hall (Richardson). Eva Nell was the fourth child in a family that would expand to eight children of four boys and four girls. She is preceded in her death by three elder siblings and her mother and father.
Growing up on 96 acres near Gentry, AR, Eva Nell learned early in life the meaning of hard work. In spite of the loss of her father at the age of 14, she, her mother, and siblings continued the farm which carried a large garden, chickens, hogs, cattle, an apple orchard, row crops, and a commercial diary operation, Also, she learned to balance her farm duties with school where she was a very good student and a standout basketball player on the Gentry High School Girls team of 1951.
During her High School years she met Jimmie Joe Clark from Siloam Springs, AR. Jim was inducted into the Army during the Korean War and served as a military policeman in Germany. Upon the completion of his military time, he returned home to marry the love of his life, Eva Nell Hall on March 26, 1956. After a brief time in Tulsa, Jim and Nell had their first son, Stephen Daniel Clark and later moved to Holdenville as Jim was accepted to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. While in Holdenville they welcomed their second son, Jimmie Warren Clark.
In 1961 the family moved again to Claremore, OK and Nell has been an active resident ever since. Nell was active in the Claremore business community holding jobs at the local tag office, as a legal secretary, and as a successful real estate agent and broker. Nell was one of the founding brokers of First Team Realty which later became OklaHomes.
Nell lost Jim on March 5, 1995, during a medical procedure. Current members of Nell’s family include 2 brothers, Curtis and Tom Hall, 2 sisters Maud Ellen Feemster and Janiece Elder. Son Steve Clark and wife Melody and son Jim Clark. Grandson Colton Clark and Grand Daughters Kacy Clark, Keli Carter, Cassidy Clark and Camryn Clark.
