The family of F. Wayne Nelson mourns his loss on July 11.
Born December 5, 1945, in Claremore, OK. He was an extremely talented and gifted athlete that played football at OU. He was a wonderful scholar, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, especially his family.
He has one child, Natalie (Nelson) Kerr and husband Kevin, two granddaughters, June Marie Keesee and Samantha Kerr, and two great-grandchildren, Emma Marie Keesee and Taylor Wayne Keesee.
We will forever remember his kindness, smile, love, and sense of humor. Our hearts are broken.
