Florentina Sanchez Romero

Florentina Sanchez Romero passed away on March 5th, 2023 in Claremore, Oklahoma. She was 84 years old. 
Florentina was born in Hermosa, Bataan, Philippines to Realino Sanchez and Placencia Sanchez on September 27th, 1938.
Some of her favorite hobbies were gardening, playing cards, watching wrestling, playing bingo, and watching daytime tv shows. Florentina enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. The majority of her life she was a housewife and caretaker for her family. She married Rogelio Romero in June of 1960 and had 5 children. In the Philippines, she would plant rice and occasionally wash other families' laundry to have an extra income. In the U.S. she worked at McDonalds in Pearl Harbor and ZEBCO Fishing Company in Claremore.
Florentina lived in the Philippines from 1938-1993. She then moved to the U.S. and lived in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii from June of 1993 - May of 1994. Afterwards, moved to Chelsea, Oklahoma and resided there from May of 1994-1996. Later relocated to Inola, Oklahoma and lived there from 1996-1997. Her final home was located in Claremore, Oklahoma where she resided from 1998-2023.
Florentina is preceded in death by her husband Rogelio Romero; parents Realino and Placencia Sanchez; siblings, Ireneo Sanchez and Rosita Quiambao and two sons.

She is survived by her older brother Abondio Sanchez. Daughter: Rosemarie Sanchez Clark. Sons: Teofilo Sanchez Romero and spouse Nath Dela Cruz, Domingo Sanchez Romero and spouse Jenalyn Roy. 
Grandchildren: Diana Dela Cruz and husband Junior; John Paulo, Rose Jia, John Michael and spouse Jen, Jolly Mae, Marissa Ramos and husband Eugene, Anjie Lynn, Katherine, Roger Alexander Starkey, Rex Michael Clark and Lex Nathan Clark.
Great Grandchildren: Thalia, Clyde Edmar, Naithan and Amniel. Florentina is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins who reside in the Pampanga, Bataan, and Bulacan provinces in the Philippines; Canada, New Zealand, and in Florida, U.S.A.
