Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026, at the Chelsea Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Chelsea Cemetery.

Kenneth White passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at the age of 82.

Kenneth was born on December 11, 1943, in Redlands, California, to George H. and Marjorie McElroy White. Around the age of 15, he and his family moved to Oklahoma, settling near the Foyil area. He attended Foyil schools before continuing his education in Chelsea, where he graduated in 1963.

While in high school, Kenneth began working at the Chelsea Reporter, where he set type and printed the newspaper. It was while he was working there he was introduced to a young lady named Marilyn Victory, by his sister. Kenneth and Marilyn began dating, and on June 17, 1967, they were married in Durant, Oklahoma. Together, they made their home in and around the Chelsea era, where they raised their family and built a life filled with love and memories.

Kenneth's working career included time at newspapers in Chelsea, Pryor, and Tulsa. He was very knowledgeable in all aspects of the newspaper. He later began building homes throughout the area, before beginning work as an oilier of heavy equipment. He later became a diesel mechanic and owned his own business, Ken's Field Service. He operated the business from the early 1990s until his retirement.

Outside of work, Kenneth enjoyed many of life's simple pleasures. He loved fishing, camping, and archery. He was a self-taught guitarist and enjoyed running cattle. While he had many interests and talents, nothing was more important to Kenneth than spending time with his family. His family was at the center of his life, and he treasured the time they shared together.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, George and Marjorie (McElroy) White; and his infant siblings, James Harmon White and Francis Kathleen White.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Marilyn White; his children, Kim Bagby and husband Jon, Steven White, and Renae Goins and companion Michael Waymire; his grandchildren, Caden White, Kaitlyn Bagby, Alec Bagby and fiancée Kayla Beirne, Krissee Goins, Tyler Goins, Kaylie Goins, and Koranne Goins; his siblings, Jerry White and wife Marie, Elaine Taylor and husband Leroy, Janice Ellick, and Debbie Murphy and husband Jody; along with many other extended family members and dear friends.

Kenneth will be remembered for his hard work, many talents, love of the outdoors, and most of all, the love and devotion he had for his family. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
