Inge D. Brown aka “Oma”, age 83 of Chelsea, OK peacefully passed away, gained her wings and officially retired on Sunday, July 27, 2025. She was born May 12, 1942, in Mannheim, Germany, to the late Peter and Hildagard Mũeller. She was the third of four children, two older brothers and one younger brother.
Inge, as she was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. One could even say that she was a force to be reckoned with. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her.
Throughout her life, she embodied a spirit of kindness and resilience, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her. Inge shared her love for Elvis Presley with a display of him everywhere, from her home, work cubicle, & even on her car. She would even say often that he was her boyfriend & couldn’t wait to see him again. Inge had a profound love for animals, her compassion extended to the vulnerable, as she frequently took in stray animals, nursing them back to health and providing them with a loving home. Her home was always filled with the comforting presence of dogs and cats, a testament to her generous heart. She also had a passion for sewing, as she was a full-time seamstress at the Hard Rock Casino & worked there for 25 years, with no plans to ever retire. She had a great talent in sewing; there wasn’t a sewing job she couldn’t do. Another passion she had was gardening, she literally could grow anything & magically nursed the sick/wilted back to healthy & vibrant. She enjoyed the simple pleasures that life had to offer, but spending time & making memories with her family & friends is what she enjoyed the most. The memories of Inge are as rich and vibrant as her spirit. There are so many cherished memories that involve spontaneous adventures, road trips, and shenanigans with family & friends. She also shared countless evenings filled with
laughter, games, and dancing. Inge had a unique ability to make everyone feel safe and comforted. Her presence was a source of unwavering support, and her arms were always open to offer a warm embrace. She leaves behind a tapestry of memories woven with laughter, warmth, and a deep appreciation for the simple beauty of life.
Inge was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Hildagard; and her three brothers; Alfred Mũeller, Guenther Mũeller, and Peter Mũeller. She is survived by her daughter Bianca Strohmeyer and husband Ed; son, Samuel Goodwin; son, Daniel Goodwin; son, Theodore Goodwin and wife Lurenda; daughter, Michelle Skora and husband Dano; stepson, Jerry Brown and wife Christine; stepson, Larry Brown; cousin, John Mũeller; 22 grandchildren; and 43 great grandchildren.
Her legacy will carry on forever reminding us that we control our attitudes. We choose to live a life of meaningful acts of love and service, like Christ modeled for us. There are no words that can express how grateful and blessed we are to everyone for your thoughts and prayers for Inge and for her family. Thank you so much!
