Irene D. (Edwards) Zoch was born Dec. 21, 1931, in Talala, OK. She was peacefully called home to Our Lord on Jan. 28, 2016, in Houston, TX.
Irene was employed by Exxon Oil Company, retiring after 38 years of service. A faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church since the 1960's, she served as a choir member and volunteered in various church groups.
She leaves a niece, three nephews, her predeceased husband's children, grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter who all will miss her dearly.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Wed., Feb. 10, 2016, at Fairview Cemetery, Talala, with Pastor Mark Burger officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of MMS-Payne Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
The family requests that memorials be sent to the Trinity Lutheran Church Organ Fund, 800 Houston Ave., Houston, TX 77007.
