Jack Houston Davis; 59 years old of Chelsea, OK died Saturday unexpectedly in his home on 8-15-2015. He was born on 10-1-1955 to Jess R. Davis and June Davis in Claremore Ok. He graduated from East Central High school in 1974. He then worked for Ray Davis Painting from 1974-2005. After leaving his fathers business he worked for Larry Barton Painting from 2005 to present.

Survived by his mother June Davis of Columbus Ks, sister Bunny Speer and Carl of Columbus KS. Brother Jess Ray Davis Jr. and Peggy of Owasso, OK. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Jamie Robinson and Robert of Columbus KS. Sunny Speer of Cherokee KS. Clint Speer of Columbus KS. Michelle Davis of Tulsa and Jess Ray Davis III of Owasso. Great nieces and nephews, Brittany Phillips of Columbus KS. Chad Speer and Stormi of Joplin MO. Megan and Jett Gall of Cherokee KS. Colton Speer of Columbus KS. One great, great, nephew Kaden Thiele of Columbus KS.

He is preceded in death by his spouse Sheryl Grayhorse and his father Jess Ray Davis Sr. and his sister Jan Speer.

Jack enjoyed OU football, listening and playing music. He was a proud member of the Cherokee Nation. He loved his family with great devotion.
