James Randall Fincher

James Randall Fincher, born April 20th, 1955, to James and Barbara Fincher of Festus Missouri. Randy grew up surrounded by his sisters Kathy, Patty, Tammy and Shelly. Randy joined the army right out of high school where he served in Germany and found his talents and love of firearms; which served him later in life when he owned and operated a sporting goods store for over 26 years.

At the mature age of 21, Randy became a dad to his daughter Rebecca and soon followed his son Jimmy and Brandon.

Randy moved to Oklahoma around 1978 where he worked as a heavy equipment operator for a coal company and then an operator for equipment installations in Tulsa.

Randy settled into life in the Claremore/Chelsea area where he started a pawn and mechanic shop with his son Jimmy and later grew the business into a sporting goods store and car lot; where he retired after 26 years.

Randy spent his retirement years restoring vintage cars, going to swap meets, attending estate sales and attending his grandkids’ activities. In the past two years, he has spent his time with a partner who shared his love for cars, car clubs, cruising and living a full life in retirement, Shari.

On September 18th, 2026, Randy left a full family behind, his mother Barbara; his sisters Shelly, Tammy (husband Tom), Patti, and Kathy. His children Brandon (wife Myrna) Jimmy (wife Denise) and Rebecca (husband James); his grandchildren, David, Emily, Bentley, Wyatt and Mikey; Joe and Randal.

Our hearts are shattered by how quickly he left us, yet we hold deep gratitude for every moment we were given to love him and laugh beside him. When you think of Randy, remember the man at his core—someone who loved fiercely and never gave up easily.
