Jeffery W. Coleman

Dec 17, 1965 — Sep 1, 2026

Jeffery Wayne Coleman passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 60 years old.

A memorial service celebrating Jeff’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at the First Baptist Church of Inola.

Jeff was born on December 17, 1965, in Great Lakes, Illinois, to John and Mabel Coleman. Because his father served in the military, Jeff traveled often during his childhood, experiencing life in many different places and developing an appreciation for the people and communities he encountered along the way.

Throughout his working years, Jeff held a few different jobs before eventually settling in Krebs, Oklahoma, where he began driving a liquor truck. It was while running his route that he met Dianna, who was the manager of Jubilee Liquor. The two began dating, and on March 6, 1992, they were married. After spending some time in Krebs, the newlyweds moved to Tulsa, where Jeff began working in the metal industry. Through hard work and determination, he eventually worked his way up to become a leadman.

In 1995, Jeff and Dianna moved to Inola, where they found the simpler way of life Jeff appreciated. He became a member of Inola Baptist Church and was especially active in Celebrate Recovery, where he found fellowship, purpose, and the opportunity to encourage others.

Those who knew Jeff would describe him as a straight-shooting kind of guy. He was honest, direct, and never afraid to tell you what he thought. Jeff had a unique way of scolding you one minute and somehow leaving you feeling better about yourself when the conversation was over. His honesty, humor, and genuine care for others made him someone people could count on.

In his spare time, Jeff enjoyed playing golf and shooting pool. He also loved reading and could often be found in the kitchen, enjoying his time cooking for himself and those he loved.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mabel Coleman and brothers, Frank and Eddie Salmans and Johnny Coleman

He is survived by his wife, Dianna Coleman; sons, Timothy Franklin and Daniel Coleman; brothers, Joseph Coleman and James Coleman; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loved ones and friends who will cherish his memory.
