A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on April 30, 2025, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Claremore, Oklahoma, beginning at 11:00 AM, burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Although he is no longer with us, Jeff’s legacy of love, loyalty, and kindness will continue to resonate in the hearts of those he touched throughout his life. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
Jeffrey Martin Harder, cherished husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother fought the brave and valiant battle for his life. Inevitably, cancer overwhelmed him Saturday, April 12th, 2025, in Hot Springs, Arkansas in the presence of his wife and son.
Jeff was born on May 22, 1964, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to John and Lynn Kay (Thomas) Harder. He grew up in Claremore, attended local schools, and graduated with the class of 1982. He furthered his education at Platt College, where he earned a technical degree that set the foundation for a successful career.
For 35 years, Jeff made Houston, Texas, his home while working in various management roles for notable companies including Brown & Root and KMCO. At the time of his passing, he was employed by Hostess Company in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. His professional journey was marked by dedication and integrity, earning the respect of colleagues and peers alike.
Jeff was a loyal and steadfast presence in the lives of those lucky enough to know him. He was often described as the rock of his family, offering unwavering support and love. His passions included fishing and hunting, pursuits that enriched his life and allowed him to share memorable moments with family and friends. He participated in numerous bass fishing tournaments.
He is survived by his parents, John and Lynn Kay Harder of Claremore, Oklahoma, his wife, Tammy Harder of 23 years, his children, Sara Lynn Costlow (Brent) of Pasadena, Texas, Cat Taylor Harder of Channelview, Texas, and his best bud and son, John Jeffrey Harder of Hot Springs, his grandchildren, Everly and Waylon, (Sara) of Pasadena, Texas, his sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Tony Wallace of Spring, Texas.
