Jennifer Ann Asbill, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025, just days before her 70th birthday. She was born on May 11, 1955, in St. Joseph, Missouri, to Orla Mike Espey and George Alan Espey, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her devoted husband of 50 years, Mark Earl Asbill.
Jennifer’s life was marked by kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for her family. She is survived by her sons, Jacob Asbill of Verdigris, OK, and Jordan Asbill and his wife Allison of Bixby, OK; six cherished grandchildren: Colby and his wife Ashley, Caiden, Nataly, Jeremy, Alayna, and Ezekiel. She is also survived by her sisters, Jayne and her husband Jerry of Claremore, OK, and Joni and her husband Dan of Inola, OK, as well as six nieces and nephews and eight great-nieces and great-nephews.
Jennifer dedicated her career to nurturing and supporting young minds as a paraprofessional at Claremore Public High School. After retiring, she embraced life with joy and curiosity—joining three book clubs, creating crafts, and spending treasured moments with her grandchildren. Her love for books, sea turtles, the beach, and The Wizard of Oz reflected her playful spirit and deep appreciation for the beauty of life. Above all, she adored her grandchildren, affectionately known as “Bebe’s Babies,” who were the light of her life.
Jennifer’s thoughtful nature, gentle humor, and boundless heart touched everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
