Jerry Rex Brown

Memorial services for Jerry Rex Brown 75 of Owasso, OK will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 in the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Chapel with Pastor Steve Lewis officiating. Jerry was born July 16, 1937 in Niangua, Missouri, the son of Oliver Ray and Fannie Fern (Jemes) Brown. He worked as a machinist for McElroy Manufacturing in Tulsa. Jerry was an avid race car fan. He built race cars for his sons to race and worked at keeping them running. He was a great family man and would be considered the family "Cheerleader".
He is survived by two sons; Jerry Brown and wife Christine of Owasso and Larry Brown and wife Charlene Cantrell of Corn; a daughter Sherry McKinley of Los Angeles, CA; two step-daughters, Bianca Strohmeyer and husband Edward of Chelsea and Michelle Skora and husband Dan of Tulsa; three step-sons, Sam Goodwin, Chelsea, Dan Goodwin California and Ted Goodwin and wife Lorinda of Farmington NM; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
