Jerry Joe Hilton

Jerry Joe Hilton, 86, of Verdigris, passed away on November 17th, 2025, at his home. He was born on June 25th, 1939, to Ulus and Naomi Hilton in Cassville, MO. Jerry served 3 years in the Army and 7 years with the National Guard. He married Joanie Wilson on July 24th, 1981, and they had one child, James.

He worked as a Railroad Conductor and retired from BNSF Railroad in 2002. He was an avid horseman and enjoyed attending the grand and great-grandchildren’s ports events. He also enjoyed flying and painting.

Jerry is survived by his wife Joanie, son James Hilton, Tulsa, OK., daughters Cindy Jankovich, son-in-law Tim, Dallas, TX. and Karen Roach, son-in-law Johnny, Claremore, OK. Grandchildren Josh (J.R.) Roach, Claremore, OK., Alyssa Tatham, and husband Travis, Pryor, OK., Jakob Goodman, Albuquerque, NM., and Michael Jankovich, Dallas, TX. and great-grandchildren Halle, Blake and Tate Tatham, Jett and Jayton Roach. He was preceded in death by his parents Ulus and Naomi, brother Jimmy Hilton and sister Janice Jaques.
