After graduating from Rogers High School, he married the love of his life, Barbara Jo Hall. He immediately entered the United States Army and served as intelligence in Japan during the Vietnam War. He retired from Ford Glass Plant. He loved doing anything with his family. Family was his greatest love and he cherished his wife of 61 years! They enjoyed traveling, and he loved shopping-mall, garage sales or estate sales alike. He read avidly and traded books with his daughters so he could read even more. He loved chatting over coffee or sitting on his porch swing with family. He was always available for advice or a helping hand on his kids’ home projects, and he was more than proud to see the outcome. He faithfully worked crossword puzzles to sharpen his brain. He played dominoes with his younger brother, Steve, at minimum daily. He cherished those moments, talks, prayers and friendship over the years.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jo Remington, daughters, Kimbra Jackson, Jeri Townsend (Manse Angieri), and Jodie Remington (Libby) and son, Jake Remington (Vanessa).
