Jerry Don Young

Jerry Don Young, 80, entered the loving arms of his Lord & Savior on March 24, 2021 at his home in Inola, OK. Jerry was the son of John L & Juanita Mae Young. He was born in Tulsa, OK on April 26, 1940.

Jerry was a loving & devoted father, grandfather & great-grandfather. His greatest joys were his family. He enjoyed his time serving in the Air Force & Oklahoma Air National Guard where he served from 1957-2000. He retired as a Chief Master Sergeant which is the highest enlisted rank in the Air Force. After retiring from the Air Guard he served for a few years as a maintenance man at the Tulsa County Jail. He then worked as the custodian at Inola First Baptist Church until his full retirement.

Surviving family members include: son, John Young (Teresa), daughter Janet Rogers (Donn), son Jerry Young II (Katrina), daughter Robin Hardgrove (Leon); sister Jessie Harrell (John) ;numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Jerry is procceded in death by his son Jerry Lee Young, brother Horace Finley Young, mother Juanita Mae Young & father John L Young.
