Joan Eileen Stout was born on August 23, 1943 to Fred Edward Blann and Celeste (Wagner) Blann. She attended Webster Groves High School in St. Louis County and graduated in 1961. Joan had a love for many things: she was a talented artist and loved to paint. She thoroughly enjoyed traveling; one of her favorite places was the island of Maui. She loved shopping, water skiing, PAC shows, plants, and horse back riding. She always delighted in a good conversation with a friend and meeting new people.
