John Joseph Bachochin

John Bachochin passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023, in Boston, MA. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 10:00 am at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Claremore, OK.

John was born in Chicago, IL, to John and Mary Bachochin. He grew up in the Chicago area and, after high school, began college at General Motors Institute before obtaining his master's degree at the University of Michigan. 

John worked at GM, then later at Volkswagen before retiring from Allied Chemical in Catoosa. He settled in Claremore, OK, where he lived for over thirty years. John enjoyed shooting competitions and collecting matchbook covers. He had a passion for going on cruises with his wife, MaryAlyce. John was actively involved in St. Cecilia's Church.

John is preceded in death by his parents, his brother William Bachochin, and his wife, Helga Bachochin. He is survived by his wife, Mary Alyce, his sons Jeffrey, Todd, Steve, Sean, and Chris, his daughter Michelle, step-son Rob Olds, step-daughter Jenny Morgan, 19 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. John's memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
