John Robert Valadez

John Robert "Bob" Valadez, a cherished soul, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026, at the age of 77.

Born on May 23, 1949, in Wichita, Kansas, to Juan and Maria (Quiroz) Valadez, Bob's journey began with humble roots. He graduated from South High School in Witchita, Kansas and embarked upon a dedicated career in the aircraft industry.

Life's path led Bob to Colorado for about a year then he moved back to Witchita, before settling in Claremore in 2008. Here, he cultivated a life rich with simple pleasures, taking care of his home and finding joy in the companionship of his beloved dogs, Niki and Suki. Bob treasured his home life and the company of his partner, Jonathan T. "Jon" Ellis, with whom he shared countless cherished moments for 41 years.

Bob is survived by his companion Jon, and a wide circle of close friends, including Timothy Butcher Jr. He is preceded in death by his mother and father.

In quiet reflection and gentle love, Bob leaves behind a legacy of warmth and dedication.
