Judith “Judy” Bordwine Lowther, age 79, was called to her eternal home with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 25, 2026. She was born on November 27, 1946, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Edgar and Bessie (Lakey) Bordwine and was raised in Owasso, where she graduated from Owasso High School in 1965.

Judy lived a life of devotion to God, her family, and others. She was known for her gracious spirit, her desire to make things just right, and her ability to make everyone feel welcome. Her greatest joy was her family, and she cherished creating traditions and lasting memories for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She enjoyed crafting in many forms, including knitting, sewing, crocheting, cross-stitching, painting, refinishing furniture, and upholstery. She also served as an aide in the art department at Oologah-Talala Public Schools, a role that reflected her creative gifts. Later, she continued serving others through waitressing jobs in the area, where she met the love of her life, Lonnie. Judy and Lonnie were married on January 2, 1993, and built a beautiful life together, traveling in their RV and sharing many joyful years until his passing in 2022.

Judy had a lifelong love of learning and worked full-time while attending college, earning an Associate Degree from Tulsa Community College in 2010.

She is survived by her children, Dr. Paul Beebe and his wife, Lisa, of Naples, Florida; Christy Radaker and her husband, Phil, of Grapevine, Texas; Lani Welch of Mosca, Colorado; and Elizabeth Pence of Glenpool, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Sarah McKusick and her husband, Matt, of Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada; Chris Beebe of Fort Myers, Florida; 2nd Lieutenant Zac Twist and his wife, Staff Sergeant Olivia Twist, of Panama City, Florida; Alyssa Twist of Ruston, Louisiana; Brooke Beebe and Paul Beebe, both of Naples, Florida; James Radaker and Nathan Radaker, both of Grapevine, Texas; Billy Welch of Mosca, Colorado; and Lance Welch of Taos, New Mexico; and her great-grandchildren, Ellie, Ben, Killian, Cara, Winter, and Weston.

She is also survived by her brother, William Bordwine and his wife, Lynn, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brothers-in-law, Stephen Lowther and his wife, Sandy, of Clearwater, Florida, and Dennis Lowther and his wife, Anita, of Clever, Missouri; along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews. She will also be remembered by her precious dog, Annie.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Lowther; her beloved dog, Missy; her parents, Edgar Bordwine and Bessie Lakey Bordwine; her brother, Edgar Bordwine Jr.; and her sister, Bessie Louise Bordwine.

A memorial celebration honoring Judy’s life will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 3:00 PM at MMS-Payne Funeral Home in Claremore, Oklahoma. Dinner will follow at her home in Oologah. The family would be honored by your presence. A private burial will be held at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery in Claremore, OK.
