Judy Ann Negelein

Judith “Judy” Negelein passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 77.

Judy was born to Harvey and Virginia Gagnon in Holyoke, Massachusetts. She attended Chicopee High School and, following graduation, furthered her education by pursuing her LPN degree at Western Massachusetts College.

On July 14, 1967, she married the love of her life, David. Throughout her life, Judy worked in hospitals and nursing homes, dedicating herself to caring for others. She later worked as a school cook and as an assistant manager at Arby’s. During her retirement years, she volunteered with the Food Pantry and School Supplies programs at Claremore First Methodist Church. In her spare time, she loved reading as well as completing sewing and crochet projects for herself and others.

She is survived by her husband, David, their children, Chris and fiancee Kim, Melissa and husband Scott, Erik and wife Beth, and Nick; her grandchildren, Alex, Josh and fiancee Stephanie, Lauren, Katelyn, and Ethan. Great grandchildren Matthew, Scarlet, and Kaylee; her sister, Ann and husband Jim; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Judy will be remembered for her servant’s heart, strong work ethic, and deep love for her family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Food Pantry and School Supplies programs at Claremore First Methodist Church.
