J.W. Bryan

John Wayne Bryan, lovingly known as "J.W." by his family and friends, passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 40.

Born on May 11, 1984, in Claremore, Oklahoma, J.W. was the son of John Bryan and Louise Sinor (Phelps). He spent his early years in Coweta before eventually settling in Inola, where he met the love of his life, Denna Merryman. The couple married on September 25, 2020, and continued to make their home in Inola.

J.W. worked in the construction and concrete industry, a field where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. Outside of work, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life—camping, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnny and Boots Bryan, and Rita Casto.

J.W. is survived by his wife, Denna Bryan; daughters, Jessica Merryman and Madison Merryman; his father, John Bryan; his mother, Louise Sinor and husband Greg; grandmother, Brenda Green; siblings, Theasa Rodriquez, Bobby Bryan, Angel Sinor, Shelby Winkler, and Autumn Sinor, many nieces and nephews and other extended family members.

J.W. will be remembered for his big heart, adventurous spirit, and the love he shared with those closest to him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
