Kammy Talisha Martin

Kammy Talisha Martin passed away in Vinita, Oklahoma on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the age of 48. The daughter of Troy and Sharon Kay (Russell) Walden was born in Yakima, Washington on October 4, 1977.

She grew up and attended schools in Adair, Oklahoma, and in Idaho. She returned to Oklahoma in 1996. Kammy was a loving mother to her sons Andrew and Cody. She loved her parents as well, and it could be said that she was a Daddy's girl.

A tomboy in her youth, Kammy always enjoyed being outdoors and taking walks. She also enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and going to the library. She attended the church at Sequoyah, pastored by Wayne Phillips. It was said that she enjoyed a state of happiness in her final days.

Kammy is survived by her children Andrew Sutton of Missouri, and Cody Sutton of Washington; her parents, Troy and Sharon Walden; her sister, Kristal Smith; and many extended family members.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Steve and Pauline Russell, and Tom and Lizzie Walden, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
