Kenneth Arnold Classen, 72, passed away on December 8,2025, in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was born on February 21, 1953, in Mead, Kansas, to Mary and Arnold Classen.
Kenneth was a man of determination, purpose, and conviction. Later in life, he returned to college and became the first in his family to earn a college degree fulfilling his calling to become a teacher, an accomplishment he carried with great pride. Teaching was never just a job to Ken; it was a way of thinking and a way of living. He was a deep thinker, a lifelong learner, and someone who challenged others to think harder, work better, and live with intention.
Ken had a remarkable eye for design and beauty. He loved creating and designing kitchens and bathrooms, and he found true joy in transforming every day spaces into something meaningful. With grit and talent, he designed and built the interior of his home in Flint Ridge entirely by himself - a testament to his independence, craftsmanship, and unwavering work ethic.
If something was worth doing, Kenneth believed it was worth doing at 150 percent.
A man of strong Christian faith, Kenneth devoted much of his life to teaching others about Jesus and living out his beliefs boldly. He was honest, opinionated, and unapologetically himself -what you saw was what you got. He never sugar-coated the truth and never hesitated to stand firm for what he believed, even if it ruffled some feathers. His courage, authenticity, and intentional way of living left a profound impression on everyone who knew him.
Above all, Kenneth's greatest joy was his family. He deeply loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, cherishing every moment with them. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, resilience, and purpose; a legacy that will continue through the lives of those he held dear!
Ken was proceeded in death by his parents, Mary and Arnold Classen, nephew Ty Jordan and great nephew Camryn Jordan.
