Margie Sue Jones passed away on August 6th, 2021 She was 75 years old. Margie was born to Wilburn and Edna Reed in Claremore, Oklahoma on July 3 , 1946. She attended Sequoyah Schools and graduated in the class of 1964. Margie married the love of her life Dallas Jones in 1978 the couple made their home in Claremore.
Margie had many hobbies throughout her life she loved crocheting, cross stitching, canning, hummingbirds and gardening. She had one the most beautiful smiles. Margie spent years following her 4 kids numerous sporting events and always seemed to find a way to be in the stands for all the games or meets. When she was not cheering on her grandkids, Margie raised Dachshunds and loved to play bingo, she could often be found playing her favorite slot machines at the Hard Rock Casino, camping with her family and reading romance novels.
She is preceded death by her parents Wilburn and Edna Reed and bonus dad; Bill Towne; Siblings Ruth Cooper, W.J. Reed, Jerry Reed, and Leroy Reed.
Margie is survived by her husband Dallas Jones; Sons, Dallas Jones and wife Robyn; Jimmy Jones and wife Heather; Daughters, Michele McGill and husband Sam Jr. and Jennifer Melton and husband Ronnie. 11 Grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many nieces’ nephews and extended family.
