Mitchell Glen Buckaloo, beloved husband, father, papa, brother, and friend, passed away on September 22, 2023, in Kansas City, Kansas. He was born on January 9, 1960, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Raymond and Lola (Rhodes) Buckaloo.

Glen spent his early years in Waco, Texas where he attended school. During this time, he worked alongside his family on the dairy farm. Glen’s strong work ethic and dedication were evident from an early age.

Glen began his career at 12 years old working at the Black Steer Cafe as a dishwasher, and later transitioned to Ernie Miller Pontiac when he moved to Tulsa. Later on, he transitioned into the field of industrial painting and worked for Aztec/HSI Industry. Through hard work and determination, Glen rose to become a paint foreman supervisor. In addition to his employment elsewhere, he also owned and operated Buckaloo Sandblasting and Painting. His last employment was at Tank Connections as a paint supervisor.

While Glen was dedicated to his career, his number one priority in life was always his family. He was a loving husband to Jo Reta Buckaloo and a devoted father to their five children, and Papa to his grandchildren. Glen took great joy in cheering on his children and grandchildren at their sporting events. As their biggest cheerleader, he always made sure they had everything they needed. Glen was a constant presence in their lives and provided unwavering support.

In his free time, Glen enjoyed various hobbies. He relished the tranquility of fishing trips and the camaraderie of golfing with his wife and children. One of his favorite activities was taking his family on camping adventures where memories were created that would last a lifetime.

Mechanically inclined from an early age, Glen loved tinkering with cars. Over the years, he owned several favorites such as a '66 Chevell SS and a '71 Chevy Cheyenne. Glen’s coffee was a reflection of his bold personality - thick and strong, some might say the consistency of roofing tar. He was also an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed watching episodes of "The Simpsons".

Glen had a fantastic sense of humor and loved having a good time with family and friends. He had a knack for bringing laughter to any gathering and cherished the moments spent with his loved ones. Glen had a strong and unwavering faith in the Lord and knew his heavenly home would be waiting for him when he passed.

You’re enduring love honey, will carry me and the kids through until we see you and Chevy again in heaven. We love you always and forever.
