Reubin Kenneth Jensen, of Claremore, Oklahoma, passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 85. He was born on September 12, 1940, in Mounds, Oklahoma, to Hans Christian Marinus Jensen and Wratha Lillian (Robinson) Jensen.
Kenneth was a man of many skills and a hard work ethic. Over the years, he worked as a roughneck in the oil fields, salesman at Coca-Cola Company, John Zink Company, Synergy Propane Company, American Airlines, and Spirit Aerosystems. He also served twice as a housefather for the Baptist Children’s Home. Kenneth was also self-employed, operating his own dump truck and sand-hauling business, and later doing remodeling work until his retirement.
A devout Christian, Kenneth was an ordained deacon and devoted member of many churches. His faith guided every part of his life. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and caring for his family and home. He attended school in a one-room schoolhouse at Willieo, later continuing at Inola schools, where he was active in FFA and graduated from Inola High School.
On February 6, 1970, Kenneth married the love of his life, Debby Ann (Martin) Jensen. Together they built a beautiful life grounded in faith and family.
He is survived by his wife, Debby Jensen; sons Matthew K. Jensen and wife DeAnn, and Richard D. Jensen and wife Crystal; grandchildren; Austin, Jacob, Riley and husband Tyler, Zoey, and Ethan; one great-grandchild, Emery Dunham; and brother David L. Jensen.
He was preceded in death by his parents; half brothers, Walter and Albert Jensen.
