Rae Lynn Campbell

Funeral services for Rae Lynn Campbell will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with family greeting friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Rae Lynn Campbell passed away on November 20, 2024, at the age of 56. She was born on October 19, 1968, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Charlie McCaskey and Neoma (Leach) Inman.

Rae Lynn grew up in Claremore and finished her senior year at Claremore High School in 1986. From a young age, she demonstrated a talent for creativity and craftsmanship, enjoying art, writing poetry, and finding ways to express herself. Several of her poems were even published. As a child, Rae Lynn participated in Girl Scouts, the Browning Club, and loved skating on Friday nights. Known for her ornery streak and stubborn nature, Rae Lynn always tried to stand out and be unique.

Later in life, Rae Lynn worked in her mother's store, where she enjoyed marketing and building lasting relationships with customers. Her outgoing personality made her well-loved by everyone she met, particularly children. She had a "store" in her home where kids would "shop" for snacks during their visits.

When Rae Lynn's health declined, she began crafting grave decorations for Memorial Day and crocheting. She also enjoyed collecting antiques. True to her giving spirit, Rae Lynn made the selfless decision to donate her organs, helping others even in her final act.

Rae Lynn was preceded in death by her son, Coree Campbell; her father, Charlie McCaskey; and her brother, Brandy Bell. 

She is survived by her mother, Neoma Inman; daughters, Brittany Campbell and Stormee Brown; grandson, Caiden Campbell; sister, Gwen Goedecke; special niece and caretaker, Alana Chuckluck; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
