A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Claremore Church of God Seventh Day, with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Ricky Allan Grisham passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 63, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Claremore, OK, on October 13, 1961, to J.W. and Edna Louise (Payte) Grisham. As a young boy he enjoyed fishing with his dad and developed a love for music, which led him to attending many concerts throughout his life. Ricky attended Claremore Schools until his family moved to Springdale, AR, where he graduated high school. A natural athlete, Ricky loved sports and became a lifelong Arkansas Razorbacks and Kansas City Chiefs fan.
Ricky met Sherri Robison in February 1998 and in 2001 the couple married and made their home in Springdale, AR and raised their three children, in 2018 they returned to Claremore to build their forever home together. Known for his warm and welcoming spirit, Ricky enjoyed hosting family gatherings, playing guitar, and always had music filling his home. He loved spending time with family, playing hacky sack and watching his favorite sports teams. Ricky was deeply protective of his loved ones, making everyone feel included and cherished.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Sherri; son Jon Robison; daughters Jessica Vaughn (husband Quinton), Kristen Herrington (husband Jacob), and step daughter Jennifer Bilby; brother Lester Grisham; sister Rebecca "Becky" Rogers (husband Mark); and grandchildren Allie, Adriana, and Izabel Escobar; Taytum Vaughn; and Alaina, JR, and David Bilby, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
