On Wednesday, February 26th, 2020, Robert Hall, passed away at home with family at the age of 74.
Robert was born on September 20, 1945 in Oakdale, California to Clabern and Dora (Owens) Hall. He married Freda Mae Glasco in Ceres, California on March 6, 1965. The couple moved to Oklahoma, where Robert began his career doing prestress concrete work, from which he retired in 2009. They raised two children, Mechelle and Toby, as well as their niece, Vicki, for a bit, who they still claim as their own. Robert enjoyed raising and fighting roosters for many years during his younger years, and made many wonderful friends doing so.
After retirement, Robert enjoyed spending his time buying and fixing up tractors and boats to resell. He loved fishing, and enjoying a beer with his dear friends down at Maize landing, where he would often be found sharing stories and good times. His grandkids truly enjoyed when Pappaw would take them out on the boat to hang out or just to fish. He was known for his feisty spirit, jovial laugh, and hard working attitude.
He is survived by his wife, Freda, his two children, Mechelle and Toby, and his sisters Patsy, Diane, and Teresa, his grandchildren Sherri, Ashlee, Jessica, Trevor, Chance, Kelsei, RJ, and Taryn, and 11 great-grand children.
A memorial service and potluck will be held at the Inola Senior Center at 205 S. Broadway, Inola, OK on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 1:00pm.
