Roger Lee Clark, a dedicated electrician and a beloved family man, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026, in Claremore, Oklahoma with Richard, Jetta, and Dana by his side, at home, as he wished. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on January 31, 1942, Roger lived a life marked by hard work, skill, and devotion to his loved ones.

Roger was the son of William Lawrence and Donna Barbara (Bane) Clark, uniquely he was the last child that was born in the family home . He grew up in Tulsa, where he attended local schools and graduated from Tulsa Central High School. After high school Roger enlisted with the US Army and served in the Army Reserves. Pursuing his passion and craftsmanship, Roger furthered his education at a trade school, earning his electrician’s license—an achievement that helped set the foundation for his lifelong career.

Roger’s career as an electrician spanned many years and locations across the United States. Known for his commitment and expertise, he would spend several months working in one place before moving on to the next, embracing the varied experiences his profession offered. His dedication was recognized with the awarding of a 60-year pin from Local 584, reflecting his unwavering commitment and skill in his trade.

Beyond his career, Roger cherished many hobbies and interests. In his younger days, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, activities that connected him to the great outdoors. As time passed, his love for his home and land grew deeply. Roger found joy in working on his tractor, tending to his property, and nurturing his workshop filled with woodworking tools. An enthusiast of classic cars, he lovingly maintained his 1968 Ford Mustang, while his passion for motorcycles was embodied in his cherished Harley Davidson. Together with his wife Janice, Roger delighted in attending auctions and built a collection of clocks that they treasured.

Roger was blessed with a close-knit family. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Lawrence and Donna Clark, his beloved wife Janice Clark, and his brother William Clark. He is survived by his children, Richard Clark and his wife Dana, Jetta Clark, Roger Clark, Zoe Clark, and Harland Coble; his brother Mitchell Clark; his sister Barbara Weaver; and several grandchildren who carry forward his legacy.

Roger’s life was one of dedication—to his craft, to his interests, and most importantly, to his family. He leaves behind a wealth of memories and a tradition of hard work and love that will continue to inspire those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
