Ronald Paul Beekman, born March 10, 1948, to Kenneth and Ruby Beekman of Atlantic
Iowa where he grew up with his siblings Karen and Dennis, attended school and graduated
from Atlantic High School May of 1966.
After graduating high school, Ron enlisted in the United States Airforce in May of ’67 where
he proudly served our country during the Vietnam War and earned the rank of Sargeant E-4
before completing his tour of duty December of 1970.

and showing up to watch his nieces and nephews sporting events to cheer them on. He
was a very positive and uplifting man who showed great love to all of those around him, and
making special connections to everyone who was blessed to know him.
Rons final days of life were lived out at Brookdale Assisted living in Claremore, OK where he
made many friends and brought much joy and love to all the amazing staff of Brookdale and
