Ronnie Jack Blankenship

Ronnie Jack Blankenship, a dedicated electrician who worked for IBEW until his retirement, has passed away at the age of 75. Born on July 6, 1948, in Prague, Oklahoma, Ronnie led an accomplished life filled with love, family, and professional success.

Ronnie's passion for his work as an electrician was evident throughout his long and fruitful career with IBEW. He dedicated many years to honing his skills in the field, ensuring that homes and businesses had access to reliable electrical systems. 

One of Ronnie's proudest accomplishments was being a devoted member of IBEW since 1975. Through his membership in this esteemed organization, Ronnie established himself as a knowledgeable and skilled professional within the electrical industry. His expertise was felt by all those who crossed paths with him.

Outside of work, Ronnie found joy in spending quality time with his loved ones. Fishing trips and camping adventures were among his favorite pastimes. These outdoor activities brought Ronnie closer to nature while creating lasting memories with his family. His passion for fishing and camping served as a wonderful opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the world around him.

On September 8, 2023, Ronnie Jack Blankenship peacefully passed away at his home in Inola, Oklahoma.  He is survived by his loving son Ronnie Blankenship Jr., daughters Tara N. Pope and husband Corey, Brandi Powell and husband Kevin, Mary Battoe, and Michelle Jones and husband Larry; nine cherished grandchildren; four adored great-grandchildren; his brother Lonnie Blankenship; and his mother-in-law Shirley Whisman. Ronnie's parents Milo and Wanda Blankenship, his beloved wife Rhonda Blankenship and their daughter Teresa preceded him in death. 

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Ronnie Jack Blankenship will be held on September 25, 2023, at Inola Christian Church, located at 30556 S 4200 Rd, Inola, Oklahoma. The service will commence at 11:00 a.m., with a reception to follow. All who knew and loved Ronnie are welcome to attend this meaningful event.

Though we mourn his loss, we will forever carry Ronnie Jack Blankenship's memory in our hearts. His dedication to his profession, love for family, and zest for life will serve as an inspiration for years to come. May he rest in eternal peace.
