Scott Wayne Green

Scott Wayne Green passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 59. He was born on November 16, 1965, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Tom and Billie Green.

Scott grew up in Chelsea, attending Chelsea Public Schools and graduating with the Class of 1984. He was an avid pool player and even competed in Las Vegas tournaments as part of a team. A skilled craftsman, Scott worked as a carpenter for most of his life and took great pride in his woodworking.

In his younger years, Scott enjoyed playing football and basketball. He loved traveling, and some of his favorite vacation memories included visiting Disney World, seeing the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, and exploring the California Redwoods and Monterey Bay. Known for his kind heart, Scott had a deep love for animals and cared deeply for those around him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Billie Green, and his grandparents.

Scott is survived by his siblings, Joel Green and wife Janet, and Melissa Plummer and husband Bruce; nieces and nephews, Stephanie and husband Ross, Rachel and husband Blaine, Jake and wife Kaci, Josh and wife Melissa, and Hope; and great-nieces and nephews, Jase, Ellias, Andy, and Crew, along with many other extended family members and cousins.

Scott will be remembered for his kind spirit, sense of humor, and the love he shared with his family and friends.
