Sharon Rosene Brasier

August 3, 1941 — September 15, 2025

Tulsa

Sharon Rosene (Bell) Brasier passed away on September 15, 2025, in Tulsa, at the age of 84.

She was born on August 3, 1941, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to A.L. and Juanita Bell. Sharon was raised in rural Rogers County, where she began school in Foyil before her family moved to Claremore. There she enjoyed playing the clarinet in the band and was also a twirler, graduating with the Class of 1959. She began dating Phil Brasier and they married on December 11, 1959, and they made their home in Tulsa. Sharon began working as a switchboard operator for Southwestern Bell Communications in Tulsa. Once Phil and Sharon had children, Sharon devoted herself to raising their family. Once her youngest child entered school, she began working as a secretary at Monte Cassino School in Tulsa, where she served faithfully from 1983 until her retirement in 2009.

Sharon was known for her warm personality and the way people naturally gravitated toward her. She enjoyed water skiing in her youth, collecting antiques, spending time with family and friends, and traveling to Texas, Colorado, Connecticut, Mexico, and a very special mother-daughter trip to Thailand, Indonesia, and The Philippines. She was also a talented cook and baker, so much so that her skills opened the door for her to operate her own catering business. Sharon was a devoted mother and “Mimi” and spoke of her children and grandchildren often. She commemorated every Christmas with a special ornament for each grandchild. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Tulsa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, A.L. and Juanita Bell.

She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Perkins and husband Mike, and Cathy Bentley and husband Richard; sons, Michael Brasier and John Brasier and wife Mitzi; grandchildren, Brandon and Abby Smart, and Drew, Libby, and Ty Perkins and Antoinette and Josephine Brasier; step great-grandchild Mina Bentley, sister, Andy Willis and husband Buck; special cousin Steve Bell and wife Kim; sisters-in-law, Pat Chambers, Shirley Nickles and husband Don, and Jerry Brasier; along with many other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
