Going home services for Sharon Iris Crager will be held 10:00am, Thursday, September 10th, at the MMS-Payne Funeral Service and Crematory, Ray Crawford will officiate. Burial will follow in Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow at 1:00 p.m.

Sharon went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, September 2, 2026, at her home in Claremore, Oklahoma. She was 80 years old.

 She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Greg; daughters Wendy Hicks and husband Keith of Tunkhannock, Pa., Debbie Marcotte of Chouteau, OKlahoma, and Cathy Harmon and husband, Scott of Pryor, Oklahoma. She will be loved and missed by 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: Barbie Barrett, Albert Lewis, Cully Lewis, Dani Kopf and Ellie Bruno.  She was also blessed with numerous nieces and nephews as well as wonderful friends.

Sharon was born on October 21, 1945, Kingston, Pennsylvania, to David and Iris Stanley. She grew up in Wilkes-Barre and graduated from E.L. Meyers High School in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

In 1967 Sharon joined the Women's Army Corps. She completed her boot camp at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama and was a clerk typist attached to Company D.

Throughout her life, Sharon was known for her gift of singing and playing the church piano. She worked as a domestic engineer for the majority of her life.

Sharon especially enjoyed watching and feeding wild birds and keeping up with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren through her social media accounts. Some of her happiest moments were spent traveling to Israel and taking a cruise to Alaska.

Sharon will be remembered most for her strong wit and fun spirit.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Grace Hospice in Claremore, friends, and church family for their consistent care and support.

Although Sharon will be deeply missed, her love, memories, and influence will continue through the many lives she touched.
