In Loving Memory of Shaylee Marie King
Shaylee Marie King at the young age of 24, tragically passed away on June 24, 2026.
Shaylee was born on October 1st 2001 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Bria Hofstetter and Allen King, She attended Inola Public Schools where she made many memories with friends and graduated with the Class of 2020.
During her school years, Shaylee enjoyed playing soccer, cheerleading, softball, and basketball, with basketball always holding a special place as her favorite sport. She loved spending time with her close-knit group of friends and family, making memories during sleepovers and enjoying every moment together. She was a big fan of social media and loved making Tik toks, Shaylee also had a deep love for animals, when she got her first apartment that was the first thing she did was adopt her first Dog, Asher. He was a mess but she loved him dearly. Shaylee loved fast, loud cars and motorcycles,she enjoyed attending car meets when she could. She enjoyed taking day trips to explore new places, even though she’s a country girl she had a love for the city.
Above all else, Shaylee's greatest joy and pleasure in life was being a Mother to her two beloved children, Espen and Ryden, she was a nurturing and devoted mom who loved her babies with all her heart she was their world, she worked hard every day to solely provide for them. Shaylee was strong-willed and independent, and as her mother lovingly described her, she could be "a little spicy." at times. Her determination, loving kind heart, vibrant personality, will be remembered by all who knew her.
Shaylee is survived by her children, Espen and Ryden; her mother, Bria Hofstetter, and stepfather, Mike; her father, Allen King, and stepmother, Tana; her siblings, Blaise, Camden, Kylee, Kash, and Reagan; her grandparents, Charles and Rhonda Bagwell, Susan and Ed Hofstetter, Phill King and Brenda Sally; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and many dear friends.
Shaylee's love, strength, and beautiful spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
