Rachella May “Shelly” Hull February 14, 1969 – September 2, 2026

Rachella May “Shelly” Hull, 57, of Chelsea, Oklahoma, passed away on September 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Shelly was born on February 14, 1969. She shared her life with her husband, Wessley Hull, and together they built a family that meant more to her than anything. Shelly’s greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved watching them, spending time with them, and taking part in whatever they loved to do. Whether she was cheering them on, simply sitting and visiting, or making memories together, being a grandma was one of the greatest parts of her life. Some of Shelly’s happiest moments were spent outdoors. She loved fishing and riding on the pontoon with her family. She also enjoyed quieter hobbies, including crocheting, diamond painting, crafting, and working on genealogy. She especially enjoyed researching genealogy and crafting alongside her sister-in-law and dear friend, Carla Garner. Family relationships were incredibly important to Shelly. She shared a special bond with her sister, Charlene, and the two talked every single day. Those daily conversations were a treasured part of their lives and a reflection of the closeness they shared. Shelly was also a dedicated employee of Zebco for more than 10 years. She genuinely loved her job and the people she worked with, and she took great pride in her work.

Shelly is survived by her loving husband, Wessley Hull; her children, Wessley Hull II and his wife, Casie Hull; Arron Hull and his wife, Jennifer Hull; and Rusty Hull and Mandy Lewis. She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, including Cutter Hull, John Hull, Karsen Hull, Peyton Hull, Bryton Hull, Tyton Hull, Jackie Hull, Bella Hull, Jay Hull, Savanna, and Ally, along with additional great grandchild Weston Wayde and family members whose lives she loved and cherished deeply. She is also survived by her sister, Charlene and her husband, Carl Stage; brother, Billy Garner; brother, George Garner; sister, Martha Glover; sister-in-law Carla Garner; and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other relatives whom she loved dearly.

Shelly was preceded in death by beloved family members who were waiting to welcome her home. Her mother, Rachel Nichols; her father, William Russell Garner; her brothers, David Garner, Bill Garner, Larry Rex, Tommy Peterson, Mike Peterson, and John David; her sisters, Muide Pitchford and Sharon Harding; and her precious granddaughters, Cayden AnnaGayle Hull and Leyton Cheyann Hull.

Those who knew Shelly will remember her for the love she had for her family, the joy she found in the simple things, and the memories she created with the people she loved most. Her family will miss the conversations, fishing trips, pontoon rides, crafts, laughter, and everyday moments that never seemed extraordinary at the time but now mean everything.

Although her family would have given anything for more time with her, they find comfort in knowing that after such a courageous fight, Shelly is finally at peace. Her fight is over, but the love she gave her family will remain with them forever. She will be deeply missed as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, and she will forever hold a place in the hearts of those who loved her.
