Shelly spent many years working for Green Country Oil and Gas, which later became BSMK. She later worked for mentor, Tim Mosteller, filing tax returns, and after his retirement, she opened Shelly’s Tax Service that she operated for 3 years. Shelly, with her husband and children, also established Mother Road Medicines.
Shelly loved camping, reading, gardening, hummingbird watching, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren, who were the joy of her life, family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Milene Hunt; brother, Buckshot Hunt; and grandparents, Dink and Ruth Bacon, Granny Mac, along with many other family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Riley; father, Ted Hunt; children, Jerry Riley (Courtney Lewis), Andrea Riley (Billy Lewis), and Teddy Riley; grandchildren, Jaxon Riley, Chelsea Riley, and Brandon Lewis; sisters, Angie Morose (Jack), Sheri Michael (James), and Tracy Hunt; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
Shelly will be remembered for her hard work, strength, and compassionate giving nature, but most of all, for the love she had for her family and friends; which can only be described as the most unconditional love this side of Heaven.
