Sheral Kay Danker

December 3, 1947 — January 16, 2024

Sheral Kay Danker, a kind, compassionate, and loving Christian, Mother, and Grandmother, passed away January 16, 2024, in Inola, Oklahoma. She led a life dedicated to her faith and family which she cherished above all else.   Sheral was born on December 3, 1947, to Ralph and Alice Ennis in McAlester Oklahoma.  The family moved around in Oklahoma following Ralph’s work eventually landing in Wellston, where she would meet the love of her life, George Danker.   They were married on September 25, 1964.   Within a couple of years of their marriage they moved to Inola, where they would raise their family and spend the majority of their 59 years of marriage together.

One of Sheral's proudest accomplishments was dedicating her life to Christ. Her strong faith served as the guiding force throughout her entire existence. She found solace and strength within her religious community and took great joy in attending church services at Calvary Baptist in Inola alongside her beloved husband George.  She was most thankful that she would see her children and grandchildren saved and baptized at Calvary.

Family meant the world to Sheral. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to nurturing and supporting her loved ones. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. Sheral delighted in attending their events and embarking on memorable trips with them. The bond shared with her grandchildren was one of pure love and admiration. In addition to cherishing family moments, Sheral found great pleasure in planting flowers and tending to gardens. As an avid shopper, she delighted in the simple pleasures of finding hidden gems during her outings. Baking brought immense joy to Sheral and nobody could resist the temptation of her mouthwatering chocolate sheet cake, vanilla fudge, or Christmas sugar cookies.  Music played a significant role in Sheral's life; she had an appreciation for various genres that touched her heart and uplifted her spirit.  Whether it was through singing along or simply enjoying the melodies floating through the air, music brought comfort and happiness to her soul.

Sheral was preceded in death by: Her husband George Danker, Her father, Ralph Ennis, her mother Alice Ennis, her sister Carol Anderson and her brother David Ennis.

Sheral is survived by: Her sons, Brian Ray Danker and Dale Wayne Danker, her daughter-in-laws, Shawna Danker and Amanda Danker, and her grandchildren, Troy Davidson and his wife Savannah Davidson, Julian Danker and her husband Harry Castillo, Amelia Danker, Audrey Danker, Camille Danker, Owen Danker, Cash Danker, Chloe Danker, Emily McClain, and Alise McClain
